Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using EchoKey, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms apply to all versions of EchoKey — the desktop application, the website at echokey.app, and any related services.

EchoKey is a voice dictation tool for Windows. It records your voice when you hold a designated shortcut key, transcribes the audio using AI, and types the result into whatever application is focused.

The free tier includes 2,000 words per week. Paid plans offer unlimited usage and additional features.

Creating an account is optional for basic use. An account is required to sync your dictionary, snippets, and settings across devices.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You agree not to:

• Use EchoKey to record or transcribe others without their consent

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app

• Use the service to generate illegal, harmful, or harassing content

• Circumvent usage limits or access controls

• Resell or sublicense access to the service

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Paystack. All payments are in USD.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first payment if you are not satisfied. Contact us at support@echokey.app.

EchoKey and all its components — including the app, website, logo, and brand — are owned by Nguzotech. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.

Content you create using EchoKey (your transcriptions, dictionaries, snippets) belongs to you.

EchoKey is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of transcriptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nguzotech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of EchoKey.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
